Tottenham boss Antonio Conte admits his job is on the line and that he could be sacked by June when his contract ends in June 2023
Antonio Conte concedes that he may not be at Tottenham before his contract runs out, as the club might sack him.
Conte unsure about his future at Spurs
The Italian had a gallbladder surgery which kept him away from his duties at Tottenham for 5 weeks. Spurs have lost 7 of their last 15 games. This run included them being knocked out of the Champions ELague as well.
This leaves the Italian unsure about his position at the club. Tottenham were negotiating a new deal to extend Conte’s contract but the Italian wants to move away. His contract with the North London side ends in June 2023.
Conte told Italian broadcaster Prime: “I respect the contract and at the end of the season I’ll make the right assessments with the club.
“Let’s see, maybe they can send me away even earlier. For a coach, what matters is raising the bar, and we struggled this year.”
