Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al Khelaifi has reacted to being drawn into the toughest Champions League group this season.
After the draw in Monaco, Al Khelaifi said they must be ready to face the best teams in the Champions League. He also called Milan one of the best clubs in the world.
“We are in the Champions League, the best club competition in the world,” Al Khelaifi told reporters.
“If you play in this tournament, you must be ready to face the best and Milan are one of the best clubs in the world with a huge history.
“They have a great team and it will be wonderful to come and play at San Siro.”
PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma who left Milan two years ago as a free agent will face his former team. Donnarumma has been booed at the Stadio Meazza, but Al Khelaifi hopes he will receive a better reception this time.
“It might be, but could be tough for their goalkeeper too. In any case, I believe and hope it will all remain within normal parameters of a football match and nothing more.”
