Arsenal averts crisis as injured Bukayo Saka returns to training

Arsenal received a significant boost as Bukayo Saka and Thomas Partey returned to training before the team’s Champions League match against Lens.

Saka, who had to leave Arsenal’s Premier League game against Bournemouth in the 76th minute due to injury, trained on Monday, raising hopes of his availability for the midweek Champions League fixture.

Partey also joined the training session after recovering from a prolonged groin injury that had sidelined him since the Gunners’ match against Manchester United last month.

Even though he didn’t play the entire 90 minutes, Saka made a significant impact by scoring the opening goal in Arsenal’s convincing 4-0 victory over Bournemouth.

This win propelled Arsenal to third place in the league standings, with just one point separating them from the league leaders, Manchester City.
