Theo Hernandez gives controversial advice to Milan players to stop Mbappe

Milan is gearing up to face PSG in the Champions League, and Theo Hernandez has some advice for stopping his French teammate Kylian Mbappe: “Kick him while you still can.”

The Rossoneri have a challenging schedule ahead after the international break, including important Serie A clashes with Juventus and Napoli, as well as an upcoming trip to PSG on October 25.

The group has proven to be more competitive than expected, with Newcastle United leading with four points, followed by PSG with three, Milan with two, and Borussia Dortmund with one.

Mbappe is PSG’s star player, having already scored eight goals in nine competitive matches this season. So, Theo Hernandez was asked about his advice for Milan teammate Davide Calabria on how to handle Mbappe.

“I am mainly glad he plays on the other side!” Theo Hernandez told Telefoot about Mbappe.

“I have given Calabria various pieces of advice, but the best one is just to foul him. Kick him while you still can.”

Indeed, it could be a prudent suggestion, given that Calabria isn’t known for his exceptional speed. However, it’s a tactic that can only be employed sparingly, as excessive fouls may result in disciplinary actions.

Theo Hernandez has earned his place in the France squad thanks to his consistent performances for Milan.

“Being able to play with Mbappé is incredible, I hope to continue doing so for many years.”
