Christmas is just around the corner, and that can only mean one thing – it’s time for the Champions League last 16 draw.

With the competition set to undergo a revamp from the next season onward, this draw marks the final occurrence of the current format, where group winners face off against the runners-up. Brace yourselves to acquaint with the top eight from the Swiss Model taking on play-off victors in the coming months.

The draw is scheduled to commence at 11 am GMT and 12 pm local time, but true to UEFA tradition, there’s bound to be some intricate build-up before the main event. Stay tuned to our live blog below for real-time updates and key details about the draw.

Who is in the Champions League last 16 draw?

The teams entering Monday’s draw as the eight group winners include Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, and Barcelona. They will be designated as the away teams for the first leg.

UEFA Champions League 2023-24 last 16 draw

Here are the Champions League last 16 draws for the 2023/24 season. Keep in mind that this list will be updated LIVE:

  • FC Porto vs Arsenal
  • SC Napoli vs FC Barcelona
  • PSG vs Real Sociedad
  • Internazionale vs Atletico Madrid
  • PSV Eindhoven vs Borussia Dortmund
  • Lazio vs Bayern Munich
  • Manchester City vs FC Copenhagen
  • RB Leipzig vs Real Madrid

And that’s all, folks!

Some tasty contests will take place, with all eyes on the Inter Milan and Atletico match. Premier League leaders Arsenal will be hoping to advance through the last 16 stage for the first time since 2010, when they faced the same opponents (FC Porto).

PSG squeezed through the group stage but managed to get a fairly easy draw, at least on paper, by facing Real Sociedad rather than other European juggernauts.

Speaking of easy draws, Manchester City might have drawn the easiest one in facing Copenhagen. The Danish side has been the surprise of the tournament so far by kicking out the likes of Galatasaray and Manchester United.

When will the last 16 ties be played?

The first legs of the last 16 ties are scheduled to take place on 13, 14, 20, and 21 February, while the second legs are set for 5, 6, 12, and 13 March. On each of these dates, two matches will be played per night, and all fixtures will commence at 8 pm GMT.
