Arsenal drew Bayern Munich and Chelsea will face Lyon in the quarter-finals of the Champions League
Arsenal are set for a tough draw in the Women’s Champions League quarter-finals as they will face Bayern Munich twice between March 21 and 30.
Two London clubs are handed tough draws
Arsenal will be facing Bayern Munich in the quarter-final with the possibility of facing PSG or Wolfsburg if they get past their opponents. Chelsea’s rivals, on the other hand, will be Lyon with the possibility of playing Barcelona or Roma in the semi-finals.
The first ties of the Women’s Champions League will be held on March 21 and 22 while the second-leg ties are held a week later in March 29 and 30.
Chelsea faces the current holders of the Champions League, Lyon, however, the Gunners managed to beat them 5-1 in the opening group match.
They previously faced each other in the 2018-19 season where Lyon managed to edge out Chelsea 3-2. They then went on to win the Champions League in what was their sixth European title at the time.
