Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana suffers injury on international duty

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana suffered an injury during Cameroon’s match against Mauritius on Friday.

Cameroon managed to beat Mauritius with three goals in World Cup qualifying on Friday. Andre Onana was forced to leave the pitch in the 80th minute after suffering a suspected adductor injury against Mauritius. The severity of Onana’s muscle problem is unknown.

Onana, who returned to the Cameroon squad in September, is set to play in next year’s Africa Cup of Nations. AFCON will begin on January 13th and end on February 11th.

Manchester United also suffered another injury blow on Friday when Marcus Rashford was forced off during England’s win against Malta. Rasmus Hojlund, Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, Casemiro are among Man United’s injured players at the moment.

Cameroon will face Libya on Tuesday, while Manchester United will play Everton on Sunday, November 26.
