Thibaut Courtois has been ruled out of Belgium’s friendly match against Germany on Tuesday due to an adductor injury.

Ancelotti sweating Courtois’ injury

The Real Madrid goalkeeper suffered a minor strain and withdrew from the Red Devils squad on Sunday.

The former Chelsea shot-stopper played in Belgium’s opening Euro 2024 Group F qualifying match against Sweden, which they won 3-0.

Thibaut Courtois won’t be playing against Germany in Cologne since he returned to Madrid due to his adductor injury.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti will be wishing for Courtois’ quick recovery as Los Blancos have a La Liga match against Real Valladolid next Sunday.

Belgium, led by their star striker Romelu Lukaku, secured a convincing 3-0 win over Sweden in Solna, marking Domenico Tedesco’s debut as the team’s new head coach.

Lukaku scored a hat-trick, helping his team to a strong start in their Euro 2024 Group F qualifying campaign.
