Inter Miami’s co-owner Jorge Mas has elucidated how Lionel Messi’s significant influence at the club has brought notable benefits to both Apple and MLS.

The revered Argentine icon’s much-anticipated move to Inter Miami in July, secured through a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, has yielded remarkable results.

Messi‘s on-field performance has been nothing short of sensational, with an impressive seven goals scored in just four appearances, a highlight being his decisive role in Inter Miami’s thrilling Leagues Cup victory over FC Dallas.

Yet, Messi’s impact extends beyond the pitch. Jorge Mas, co-owner of Inter Miami, has unveiled substantial positive changes in various aspects.

In particular, the tech giant Apple, which boasts a significant broadcasting partnership with MLS, has witnessed a notable upsurge in subscriptions for MLS Season Pass on its streaming platform, Apple TV.

Mas tweeted: “The Messi Effect is real! Subscribers to #MLSSeasonPass on @AppleTV have more than doubled since Messi joined @InterMiamiCF.

“Also, Spanish language viewership on #MLSSeasonPass on @AppleTV has surpassed over 50% for Messi matches and continues to rise. How exciting for a truly global fan base!”
