Super Bowl 2024 Live Stream: Kick-Off Time and How To Watch Super Bowl 2024

Super Bowl mainstays, Kansas City Chiefs, and the hardy San Francisco 49ers will meet in Las Vegas for Super Bowl 58 on Sunday, Feb. 11.

The Kansas City Chiefs qualified for yet another Super Bowl by defeating the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 and clinching the AFC title, advancing to the championship game for the fourth time in the last five years. They will be facing the San Francisco 49ers, who orchestrated an epic comeback to narrowly defeat the Detroit Lions 34-31, in an unforgettable NFC championship showdown.

Super Bowl LVIII: A Rematch of 2020

Super Bowl 58 is set to be a rematch of the 2020 Super Bowl, in which the Chiefs emerged victorious with a 31-20 win after overcoming a 20-10 deficit at the beginning of the fourth quarter. This victory marked the first Super Bowl title for quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who subsequently led the team to another championship last year. The Chiefs are now aiming to become the first NFL team to achieve back-to-back titles since the New England Patriots accomplished this feat in 2004 and 2005.

On the other side, the San Fransisco 49ers, who haven’t been to a Super Bowl since their loss to the Chiefs in 2020, are seeking their first title since 1995.

The big game is supposed to be yet another occasion filled with excitement and glamor. Prominent personalities are likely to make appearances, with the possibility of Taylor Swift flying from a concert in Tokyo to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

While the 49ers may not boast the same level of star power at quarterback and tight end as the Chiefs, Niners QB Brock Purdy has displayed consistency in leading the team to the Super Bowl.

Purdy effectively directs Kyle Shanahan’s offense, utilizing a diverse set of weapons on the field. These weapons include running back Christian McCaffrey in the backfield and receiving threats such as tight end George Kittle, as well as wideouts Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk.

Super Bowl 58: Time and Date

Super Bowl Sunday will take place on Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, home to the Raiders since 2020, when the team moved from Oakland.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. PT (6:30 p.m. ET; 5:30 CT, 4:30 p.m. MT).

If you want to watch live from elsewhere in the world, it’ll likely be at an inconvenient time. The Super Bowl start time is 11:30 p.m. in the UK, 3:30 a.m. in the United Arab Emirates and 10:30 a.m. AEDT on Monday in Australia.

Super Bowl halftime show: Who will perform?

Usher will headline the infamous Super Bowl LVIII halftime show. Familiar with Las Vegas, the R&B star recently concluded a 100-show residency at the Park MGM casino.

In addition to the halftime show, there will be pregame festivities. Reba McEntire will sing the national anthem, and Post Malone will perform America the Beautiful before the kickoff.

Global icon Taylor Swift, whose boyfriend is Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, will need to hustle if she plans to attend the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

Swift kicks off the international dates of The Eras Tour in Tokyo on Wednesday, Feb. 7 and plays four straight nights with the last show happening on the Saturday before the Super Bowl. That might make it seem impossible for her to get to the Super Bowl in time, but the time zones work in her favor.

Tokyo is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas. That means her concert on Saturday night in Tokyo will end in the early morning hours on Saturday in Las Vegas. It takes roughly 12 hours to fly from Tokyo to Las Vegas, which could put Swift in Las Vegas on Sunday morning of the game.

Her next tour date isn’t until Friday, Feb. 16 in Melbourne, Australia.
