In a wholesome gesture, five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has sent aid to the victims of the Turkey and Syria earthquakes.

The packages Ronaldo sent included tents, food packages, pillows, blankets, beds, baby food, milk and medical supplies to be sent to victims of the disaster.
On February 6, a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake shook several parts of southern Turkey and Syria resulting in the loss of thousands of human lives and large-scale destruction of properties.
This wouldn’t be the first time that the Portuguese international has helped the victims of these earthquakes. He also gave permission to former teammate Merih Demiral to auction off one of Ronldo’s signed jerseys and give away the money to the cause.
