Jose Mourinho may be free to accept Saudi Arabian mammoth deal

Jose Mourinho will be able to accept a rumored £104 million ($127 million) contract offer from Saudi Arabia in 2024 as he is expected to depart Roma.

Jose Mourinho’s current deal in the Italian capital with Roma is set to expire at the end of the season, and there have been no discussions about extending it. According to Sky Sports Italia, a separation is seen as unavoidable in the coming summer.

Gianluca Di Marzio has said of the big decision being made on Mourinho’s future in Italy: “There are no negotiations ongoing, there have never been. So they’ll part company at the end of the deal in June.” Mourinho will walk away after three years at Stadio Olimpico.

There are already indications that the former Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester United manager will consider the Middle East as his next destination. The 60-year-old has acknowledged that he anticipates moving in that direction at some point.

Mourinho has said: “I am focused on Roma and I will give my all until the last day I am here. Nobody knows the future, but I am convinced I will coach in Saudi Arabia one day. I don’t know when, but I am quite sure it’s something I’ll surely do.”

Additionally, reports suggest that a highly ambitious club in the Saudi Pro League are prepared to propose a two-year contract to Mourinho, valued at £104 million.

If these conditions are agreed upon, one of the most accomplished coaches in global football will become part of the Saudi Pro League, alongside players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Neymar, and Sadio Mane.
