Saudi Pro League is after another La Liga star

Saudi Pro League is expressing interest in a La Liga superstar who has an appealing €20 million release clause.

Saudi Pro League appears poised to extend its presence in the European transfer market in 2024, building on the momentum from the previous summer. Notable players like Karim Benzema, Neymar Junior, and Aymeric Laporte moved to the Middle East in 2023, and additional prominent names may follow suit this year.

The Saudi Pro League has its sights on Isco Alarcon. The 31-year-old has been in outstanding form for Real Betis and stands out as one of the top performers in La Liga this season.

Isco recently extended his contract with Betis, joining them last summer as a free agent. However, Saudi Arabia is reportedly planning a move for the former Real Madrid playmaker, according to Diario AS. An enticing contract offer is anticipated either immediately or in the summer. If accepted, Isco could join one of Al-Nassr, Al Ahli, Al Hilal, or Al-Ittihad.

Isco’s release clause at Real Betis is a mere €20 million, a sum easily within reach for the Saudis. Despite this, fans of Verdiblanco can take some comfort, as their talisman has consistently expressed his desire to stay at the club for many years.
