After discussions with Patrick Kluivert, the head coach of the Turkish Super Lig side, ex-Manchester United star Nani will join Adana Demirspor.
GOAL understands that Nani will join Adana Demirspor, a Turkish Super Lig side. The 36-year-old former Portugal international is a free agent since leaving Melbourne Victory earlier this year. He will undergo a medical in Istanbul before finalizing the transfer.
Adana Demirspor, who finished fourth in the Turkish top flight last season, have appointed former Netherlands striker Patrick Kluivert as their head coach for the upcoming campaign.
Nani will move from Australia to Turkey to join Kluivert
Nani who suffered an injury last season, will play for Adana Demirspor, his ninth club. He played most of his career with United, appearing 230 times and scoring 71 goals in all competitions.
He won the 2008 Champions League, scoring in the final’s penalty shootout against Chelsea, and four Premier League titles with the Red Devils.
The club aims to qualify for the Europa Conference League and will play against Cluj in the first leg of a second qualifying round tie on July 27.
