Wilfried Zaha joins Galatasaray from Crystal Palace on a free transfer

Wilfried Zaha contract with Crystal Palace has come to an end, leading to him joining Turkish giants Galatasaray.

During this time, and before Zaha headed to Galatasaray, Zaha’s representatives received interest from Atletico Madrid and several other Champions League clubs, along with offers from Lazio, Fenerbahce, and Al Nassr. Crystal Palace also extended a four-year contract proposal.

However, Galatasaray managed to secure Zaha’s services with a three-year deal, outbidding the competition from Lazio, Fenerbahce, Al Nassr, and Crystal Palace, who had offered a four-year contract. Atletico Madrid and three other Champions League clubs approached Zaha‘s representatives.

Galatasary confirms that Zaha will receive a signing-on fee of £2m (€2.33m) and an annual salary of £3.76m (€4.35m).

In recent years, there has been consistent talk of Zaha’s departure from Selhurst Park, but he has remained at the London club for the majority of his career.

Throughout his time at Crystal Palace, Zaha has amassed an impressive record of 458 appearances in all competitions, scoring 90 goals and providing 76 assists.
