According to a report, Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund, and Galatasaray are competing to secure Weston McKennie’s signature.
Caught Offside has reported that the three teams are interested in signing the midfielder, who is currently under contract with Juventus but is looking for a new club.
McKennie’s versatility and strong work ethic have drawn significant attention from these three teams, particularly given his status as a key player for the United States.
During the second half of the 2022-23 season, McKennie went on loan to Leeds, who were ultimately relegated.
However, his potential as a midfielder has not gone unnoticed, as Aston Villa’s Premier League status, Dortmund’s reputation for nurturing talent, and Galatasaray’s illustrious history make them attractive destinations for the 24-year-old.
So far, the midfielder has scored eight goals in 65 appearances across all competitions with Juventus. However, during his loan spell at Leeds, he failed to score any goals in his 20 appearances in the Premier League.
The US international will make a decision regarding his future before the preseason begins with Juventus.
