PSG set to hijack Bayern Munich’s deal to sign Harry Kane with an £85m offer

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly plan to make an £85m ($110m) bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, aiming to outbid Bayern Munich.

According to RMC Sport, PSG has prioritized Kane as their top target this summer, surpassing Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic. A delegation from PSG has already traveled to London to engage in discussions with Tottenham, including chairman Daniel Levy. The French champions are prepared to offer £85m to secure the services of the England captain.

Bayern Munich has made two bids for Kane during the summer transfer window, but Tottenham has rejected both. The most recent offer amounted to £70m ($90m), and they are considering making a third bid. Kane has the option of signing a new contract with Spurs, worth £400,000-per-week, but he has indicated that he does not intend to do so at this time.

RMC Sport notes that while Kane may prefer a move to Bayern Munich over PSG, negotiating with Daniel Levy is expected to be challenging. However, PSG’s bid will likely be the highest offer Tottenham has received this summer. Tottenham’s new manager, Ange Postecoglou, has stated that he has not received any assurances regarding Kane’s future, but he hopes the striker will stay with the club.
