Former Real Madrid player Eden Hazard reportedly is thinking about retirement, despite receiving offers from three Ligue 1 clubs.
According to FootMercato, Eden Hazard is considering his options and he may choose to hang up his boots. Hazard is a free agent after his contract with Real Madrid expired at the end of the 2022-23 season.
Three Ligue 1 clubs including Nice, Marseille, and Lille are interested in signing Hazard. He has also been linked with teams from Saudi Arabia and America. Big Turkish clubs also reportedly have approached him.
The 32-year-old forward, who joined Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2019, due to injury problems and subpar performances, only managed to score 4 goals in 54 matches. However, he scored 110 goals and provided 92 assists in 352 appearances for Chelsea.
Following Belgium’s group stage exit at the 2022 World Cup, Hazard announced his retirement from international football.
