Bayern Munich offer €60m for Fulham’s Joao Palhinha

Bayern Munich is trying to sign Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha before the transfer window deadline day on Friday.

According to Sky Sports Germany, Bayern Munich wants to sign Joao Palhinha and is willing to pay €60 million. This report suggest that the Portuguese has told Fulham he wants to join Bayern and talks between clubs are ongoing.

Marco Silva’s side reportedly wants more than €80 million to sell Palhinha and Bayern is not willing to pay that much. Bild also reports that Bayern is willing to sell Ryan Gravenberch to Liverpool to finance a part of the fee for Palhinha. Bayern also is interested in signing Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah, but it is unlikely they will reach an agreement.

The London club is determined to keep Palhinha especially after losing Aleksandar Mitrovic to Al-Hilal. He joined them from Sporting last summer for around £20 million, on a five-year deal. The 28-year-old defensive midfielder was voted the club’s player of the season last season.

Bayern Munich has already brought Harry Kane, Min-jae Kim, Konrad Laimer, and Raphaël Guerreiro.
