Barcelona include €20m buyback option in Ez Abde move to Betis

Barcelona reportedly have a buyback option for 21-year-old winger Ez Abde who joined Real Betis.

Barcelona announced on Friday that Ez Abde has joined Real Betis on a five-year deal for 7.5 million euros. The club confirmed that they have the right to buy back the player and 50% of any future sale. Journalist Adria Albets claims that the buyback clause is set at €20m.

Abde joined Barcelona from Hercules of Alicante in 2021 and made his debut on 30 October 2021 against Alavés. He scored one goal in 12 matches for Barcelona. Abde Ezzalzouli spent the 2022/23 season on loan to Osasuna, and managed to score six goals in 34 appearances.

In the last day of summer transfer window, Barcelona signed Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix from Manchester City and Atletico Madrid on loan deals. The Catalan club also let Clement Lenglet, Ansu Fati, and Eric Garcia leave on loan.

Xavi’s side has seven points after three matches and will play with Osasuna in the La Liga on Sunday.
