“I’m happy where I am”, says Joao Felix amid reports Barcelona wants to buy him permanently

The Portuguese international Joao Felix insists he is happy at Barcelona after his loan move from Atletico Madrid.

The 23-year-old Felix joined Barcelona on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid in the summer. He has managed to score three goals in eight matches.

According to reports in Spain, Barcelona is thinking about sending Atletico Madrid a reasonable offer to sign Felix permanently during the upcoming summer transfer window.

In his recent interview, Felix in reaction to these reports claimed that he is happy to play for Barcelona.

Felix said: “As you can see, I’m happy where I am, I feel good, confident and I feel like I’m going through a good moment. The most difficult thing is to maintain a good level, something that I have not achieved for some time in recent seasons. But I work every day and I always try to improve to correct those less positive aspects of myself. And yes, I am happy and going through a good time.”

Xavi’s side will face Athletic Club in La Liga on October 22.
