Manchester City moved to the top of the table after a 6-1 home victory over Bournemouth on Saturday.
Manchester City hammered Bournemouth 6-1 at home on Saturday thanks to a brilliant performance from Jeremy Doku who scored one goal and created four more goals.
Pep Guardiola’s side now is one point clear of Tottenham, who will play with Chelsea on Monday.
Doku opened the scoring for City in the 30th minute. He sent the ball into the corner after a one-two with Rodri in the penalty area.
Just two minutes later, superb play from Doku created another goal for Manchester City. Doku turned a defender outside and picked out Bernardo Silva who slots home the first time.
Manchester City scored its third goal in the 37th minute. Doku’s shot was going wide, but it struck the back of Akanji and went into the corner.
Doku created another goal for City after he sent a ball inside to Foden, and he slotted a shot low into the net in the 64th minute.
Sinisterra scored Bournemouth’s only goal on a counter-attack from Aarons’ perfect low cross.
Bernardo Silva scored his second goal of the match in the 83rd minute. A long ball from Doku put Silva through on goal, and he beat the defender before dinking the ball over the Bournemouth keeper. Nathan Ake scored the sixth goal with a diving header in the 88th minute.
