Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes insists he is happy at the club despite interest from Saudi Arabia.
Italian reporter Rudy Galetti recently claimed that some Saudi clubs are considering a move for Manchester United’s captain Bruno Fernandes. He even claimed that Saudi officials are planning to meet the Portuguese to convince him to join Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Po League.
Ahead of Portugal’s match against Iceland, Fernandes was asked about a potential move to Saudi Arabia soon.
Speaking to Sport TV, Fernandes said: “I’m focusing on the national team and United. I’m happy where I am. In the national team, we had some very good times, at Manchester United we didn’t start the way we wanted. I don’t look at rumours. I don’t pay attention to them. Today, it’s very easy to spread rumours in the press. I prefer to concentrate on my goals.”
Fernandes has scored 67 goals for Man United since joining the club in January 2020. The 29-year-old midfielder is under contract with the Red Devils until 2026.
