Donnarumma receives a two-match ban after a reckless challenge

Italy’s goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, has received a two-game ban in Ligue 1 following his red card while playing for PSG.

Gianluigi Donnarumma received a two-match ban after getting a red card in PSG’s game against Le Havre. The incident occurred within the first 10 minutes of the match against Le Havre when Donnarumma rushed out of his penalty area in an attempt to anticipate the opposing striker.

However, his timing was entirely off, resulting in a forceful collision that left no room for doubt, leading to an inevitable red card.

The decision has been made, and the severity of the foul has resulted in a two-match suspension for Donnarumma, causing him to miss crucial games against FC Nantes and LOSC.

Nevertheless, the suspension is limited to Ligue 1 matches, allowing Donnarumma to play in the crucial Champions League fixture against Borussia Dortmund on December 13. In their group, PSG currently holds seven points, with Newcastle United and AC Milan following closely with five points each.
