Manchester United and Cameroon agree that Andre Onana joins his international team-mates after the match against Tottenham.
According to the English press, Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana will play against Tottenham and then will join the Cameroon squad.
Man United will face Tottenham in the Premier League on January 14, and Cameroon face Guinea on January 15. It is expected that Onana will play two games in two days.
Onana, who joined United from Inter last summer, decided to quit international football after the 2022 World Cup following a dispute with head coach Rigobert Song. However, he was persuaded to come out of international retirement earlier this season and will play in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The AFCON will begin in the Ivory Coast on January 13, and the final will be on February 11. If Cameroon reaches the final, Onana will miss League matches with Wolves, West Ham and Aston Villa, plus a potential FA Cup fourth-round clash.
Manchester United will play with Wigan in the FA Cup third round on Monday.
