Paris Saint-Germain defender star Lucas Hernandez has reacted to recent reports about Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid.
Kylian Mbappe reportedly has decided to join Real Madrid once his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires this summer. However, Real Madrid are still negotiating a contract with Mbappe, and the two sides are no closer to an agreement on his wage package.
PSG defender Lucas Hernandez has been asked how PSG dressing room are dealing with the constant speculation regarding Mbappe future.
He told RMC Sport: “If I tell you the reality, we don’t talk about it. We know that there is a lot of waiting behind him. So, we don’t want to annoy him too much, ask him. It’s up to him to make the best decision for him, for his family, for his career. I think the decision he makes will be the correct one, hoping that he stays at Paris Saint-Germain with us.”
Paris Saint-Germain reportedly have identified Milan star Rafael Leao as their number one target to replace Mbappe.
PSG is at the top of the Ligue 1 table after 20 matches, eight points clear of Nice. Luis Enrique’s side will face Real Sociedad in the Champions League last 16 round next week.
