Edin Terzic has asked Borussia Dortmund midfielder Gio Reyna to be more patient for opportunities and gametime
After not featuring a lot in USA’s World Cup campaign and all the drama that ensued, Gio Reyna has been barely used in Dortmund as well. However, boss Edin Terzic has asked him to be patient to get his chance.
Reyna has to be patient
Even though Reyna has been injured a lot this season, the American midfielder has only started once since the World Cup. however, Edin Terzic has urged him not to rush things.
“Gio has always suffered setbacks,” Terzic said. “He was injured once with the national team. Gio has made a few short appearances, played from the start against Bremen, and had no playing time in the last three games.
“He knows what we expect from him. But we also know what he can give us. He has to be diligent and patient.”
Reyna has used his sparse playing time well though as the USMNT player scored three times coming off the bench.
