Sky Germany reports that Bayern Munich is actively targeting Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga as their primary goalkeeping recruit.
Bayern is seeking a new goalkeeper for this summer’s transfer window, following Yann Sommer’s departure to Inter Milan and Manuel Neuer’s absence due to a broken leg.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is the preferred choice of head coach Thomas Tuchel, who previously worked with the Spanish player at Stamford Bridge. It remains uncertain if Chelsea would be open to offers for Kepa, who is expected to continue as Mauricio Pochettino’s first-choice goalkeeper in the upcoming season.
Notably, Chelsea’s recent transfer activities included selling Edouard Mendy to Al Ahli and acquiring Robert Sanchez from Brighton for £25 million as competition for Kepa.
