Eintracht director Krosche condemns Kolo Muani for his behavior in regards to PSG transfer

Eintracht Frankfurt director Markus Krosche has criticized Randal Kolo Muani for his endeavors to pressure the club into selling him to Paris Saint-Germain.

Kolo Muani, after announcing his desire to depart from Frankfurt and join the French side PSG this month, has escalated his stance by asserting that he will engage in a strike until he is granted permission to depart from the club. Frankfurt has already turned down an £80 million ($100 million) offer from PSG for the French player.

His recent conduct has not best pleased sporting director Krosche, who recently told Sky Sports Germany: “We got to know Randal differently and know his actual character. There’s a lot coming at him at the moment and this has resulted in this reaction, which is wrong, which we made clear to him and those around him in all its implications.

“We will play the game against Levski Sofia without him. It is clear to us: his behavior has no influence on transfer activities. What is important now is the important game against Sofia. That has top priority and is very important for the club.”

Scheduled to confront Levski Sofia in the UEFA Europa Conference League play-off second leg on Thursday evening, Kolo Muani’s conduct is likely to have provoked the displeasure of fans.

The lack of agreement between the two clubs regarding the transfer fee before the Friday transfer deadline further exacerbates the situation.
