Hoffenheim confirmed that they have secured a loan deal for 23-year-old Czech left-back David Jurasek from Benfica.
David Jurasek’s loan move from Benfica to TSG Hoffenheim has been officially confirmed.
Alexander Rosen, club’s managing director said: “David is an extremely dynamic fullback who we were interested in during the summer. However, it was not possible to sign him at that time. He is quick, strong in attack and can be deployed on the left side in a variety of formations.”
Adding to this, Pirmin Schwegler, Hoffenheim’s head of professional football, stated: “David is a fierce and strong-willed player, whose qualities will significantly increase the competition within our squad.
“He hits dangerous crosses that are difficult to defend and, although he is only 23 years old, he already impresses with his enormous presence on the pitch. With his character and athletic ability, he will definitely be an asset to our team.”
