He is confident in his ability to make a significant impact with the club, which is currently competing for the Bundesliga title. Brandt has been a key player in the attacking midfield position for Dortmund this season.
Brandt praises Dortmund’s ‘extraordinary fans’
Julian Brandt has signed a new three-year contract with Borussia Dortmund, which puts to rest any possibility of him leaving on a free transfer at the end of next season.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder has been in great form this season. There has been links to Liverpool and Arsenal in recent weeks.

“In honesty, the feeling of being in the right place at the right time has always been the most important point of my sporting life. And that won’t change either. I’m looking forward to the coming years in black and yellow and I’m sure that we’ll have the opportunity to celebrate something big together.”
Dortmund confirmed the contract extension on their official website, emphasizing that it is an important part of their plans for the future.
