Atletico Madrid are looking in signing the former Barcelona winger Adama Traore in their effort to rebuild
Atletico Madrid are set to have a big summer, as they will likely try to rebuild their squad with the likes of Joao Felix on their way out of the club.
Adama Traore on course to join Atletico Madrid
Atletico are set to sign a Premier League player already as Leicester’s Caglar Soyuncu will join them on a free. But they have set their eyes on former Barcelona winger and academy product Adama Traore.
This would be the perfect signing for Atleti who have suffered offensively this season. With how defensively deep Simeone’s team operate usually, having a winger with blistering pace like Traore could be a serious advantage.
Reports From MD claim that the 27-year-old winger is keen on a move back to La Liga. He previously payed for Barcelona in the second part of last season, coming from Wolves on loan.
With the way that Julien Lopetegui hasn’t featured Traore in his starting lineup recently, the winger could seek a move just to get regular football. His contract is due to expire in the summer and he will certainly have his pick of choices. However, a move to Atletico seems ideal.
