Barcelona is ready to clash with PSG after the French champion is close to sign Ousmane Dembele from them.
They are not only willing to meet financial demands of Dembele but also ready to pay the €50m buyout amount.
As reported by MD, Barcelona plans to request UEFA to conduct an investigation into the finances of the Parisian side.
Dembele is close to leave Barca for PSG
They seek to understand the sources and methods of their income, specifically in relation to complying with the Financial Fair Play rules set by UEFA.
La Liga President, Javier Tebas, employed a similar tactic when Kylian Mbappe chose to reject Real Madrid and sign a lucrative contract with PSG.
In an open letter to UEFA, he urged for an investigation into PSG’s financial activities.
However, despite La Liga reporting losses of over €1b in the last seven seasons, UEFA has not yet responded to the request.
