Former AC Milan teammate Hakan Calhanoglu says he would “welcome” Franck Kessie at Inter Milan
With Xavi not really believing in Franck Kessie, he has been linked with many top European clubs, including Inter Milan.
This has led to Hakan Calhanoglu, who was a teammate of Kessie at AC Milan and is now playing for Inter, encouraging Kessie to join the Nerazzurri.
Can Barca afford to lose Kessie?
While Xavi hasn’t really given minutes to Kessie, the Ivorian has recently got some important minutes due to an overload of injuries at Barca. He was key against Villarreal as well as against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey last night.
However, the rumors of him being linked away from Camp Nou persists. Inter Milan is one of his admirers and former teammate Calhanoglu believes he would be a perfect fit for Inter.
“He is a friend and a top player and here champions are always welcome,” Calhanoglu told GdS.
“We speak a lot, it’s true. He plays for a big club, but he knows Inter are the same.”
The links away from Barca might be all well and good but given Barcelona’s FFP struggles and the way they couldn’t register players, they might want to keep him in the summer.
