Modric considers Saudi offers, hinting at Real Madrid exit

Luka Modric’s agent has confirmed offers from Saudi Arabia, indicating the potential for the Croatian midfielder to move from Real Madrid.

This season, the Santiago Bernabeu has seen the Croatian midfielder on the sidelines. Borja Couce, Modric’s agent, has suggested that his client might consider a move to the Middle East as the January transfer window approaches. Furthermore, he revealed that the player has already received several offers from Saudi Arabia.

Despite playing 15 games for Real Madrid this season, the 38-year-old has started in the lineup only six times. Expressing dissatisfaction with his limited playing time, the midfielder has stated that he is unhappy with the current situation.

Modric only started in six games for Real Madrid in the current season

Couce told Shoot: “Saudi clubs? This summer there was interest in Modric with the aim of signing him. The player has several offers, from a club from the capital and another club.”

“Modric is currently thinking about Real Madrid, but the idea of him moving to the Saudi Pro League is possible if the offer is suitable.”

A mid-season departure by Modric would be unexpected, particularly considering the opportunity he has to conclude his career in Spain on a high note by securing a La Liga victory.
