Pedri doesn’t rule out a Premier League move

Pedri has indicated that he has no plans to depart from Camp Nou. However, he might consider a move to England at some point in his career

Pedri has stated his intention to remain at Barcelona for a prolonged period, but he has not ruled out the possibility of joining the Premier League in the future.

Since making his debut for Barca, the 20-year-old has been a standout player and an essential member of the squad that currently leads the La Liga.

Pedri ‘loves La Liga’

Pedri was also named Europe’s top young player in 2021, winning FIFA’s Golden Boy award, and earned his spot in Spain’s national team.

When asked about the possibility of a switch to England, he is quoted as saying by Marca: “At the moment, no. I’m at Barca and hopefully I’ll stay here for many more years.

“I love LaLiga, but nothing should ever be ruled out.”

Pedri will not be able to play in Spain’s upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Norway and Scotland due to a hamstring injury.

Despite this setback, he is excited about the new era for the national team under Luis de la Fuente, who he has previously played under at the Under-21 level and in the Tokyo Olympics.

Pedri has expressed confidence that de la Fuente will be successful as Spain’s new head coach.

Pedri said: “He is a person who goes straight ahead, he likes to work on the things he believes in and I think we will do well.

“All the coaches who come try to have the ball and play, especially because of the style of footballers we have, and I think not It will change a lot.”
