Carlo Ancelotti gives an update on Real Madrid injuries, praises Brahim Diaz

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti provided an update on the latest injury situation at Real Madrid and praised Brahim Diaz.

Real Madrid comfortably secured a 2-0 victory over Granada at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday, propelling them back to the top of the La Liga table. This result came after Girona defeated Valencia earlier in the day.

Brahim Diaz and Rodrygo scored the goals for Los Blancos, and Brahim claimed the player of the match award for another strong performance. In Vinicius Junior’s absence, Brahim has stepped up, and Carlo Ancelotti expressed his delight with the Spanish international, as reported by Diario AS.

Ancelotti said:“He does his job in every position I put him. I’m satisfied with him. He’s showing his qualities.”

Concerns heightened as Real Madrid faced another setback against Granada, forcing Dani Carvajal to exit the game at half-time, as the team grappled with a recent string of injuries. Ancelotti offered an update on the situation.

Ancelotti added: “I think it’s an overload. We will evaluate him tomorrow. I don’t know if Carvajal will play against Real Betis next week.”

Luka Modric and Kepa Arrizabalaga’s anticipated return brings positive news for Real Madrid ahead of the Betis clash. However, the ongoing issue of injury problems continues to be a source of concern for Los Blancos.
