Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, claimed that Arda Guler is ready to make a comeback on the field, but fans need to be patient regarding him.
On Wednesday evening, Real Madrid narrowly won their first match of 2024 against Mallorca. While the game proved frustrating for Los Blancos, the crucial takeaway is that they secured an additional three points.
In his post-match media commitments, Carlo Ancelotti acknowledged that, according to Marca, his side was not performing at its best during the entire 90 minutes.
“We have not played at our best level. We weren’t fresh, we weren’t accurate.”
Ancelotti also remarked on Arda Guler, noting that he chose not to take a risk with him against Mallorca, resulting in the continuation of Guler’s wait for his debut.
“He’s fine and calm and he’s very happy to be back. He’s just 18, calm and relaxed with him. Guler is our present and future. We all have to be patient. Little by little. He will have his minutes.”
Guler is anticipated to make his debut against Arandina on Saturday, with Ancelotti confirming the expected return of Eduardo Camavinga and Ferland Mendy for that match. This is promising news for Real Madrid as they steadily regain players from injury.
