As Real Madrid secured the signature of Endrick Felipe, Barca wants a Brazilian starlet of their own
Barca may have found their next South American starlet in Vitor Roque, as they try to sign the 17-year-old from Atletico Paranaense.
Will Roque be the next Neymar?!
Barcelona are trying to sign a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski and they may have found their target in Vitor Roque. The 17-year-old Paranaense starlet is the perfect candidate to take the big step into European football.
Roque was named young player of the tournament in Copa Libertadores last year. He also plays a big part in Brazil’s U20 in South American championships.
It has been reported that Roque has a similar style to that of Barca legend Suarez which would make him an ideal player to be Lewandowski’s understudy and maybe replace him further down the line.
Blaugrana have contacted Atletico PR Sporting Director Luiz Felipe Scolari and CEO Alexandre Mattos to sign Roque. The two clubs reportedly have a healthy relationship which would help smooth things on the financial side, especially considering Barcelona’s current financial predicament.
