Carlo Ancelotti is concentrating on his role at Real Madrid, despite the vacancies at his former club Chelsea and for the head coach position of world-famous national team Brazil
Carlo Ancelotti is currently the head coach of Real Madrid and has no intention of considering any offers from Chelsea or Brazil.
He expressed his respect for the La Liga club and said that he will not entertain any talks while he is under contract with them for another year.
Despite being linked with potential vacancies at both clubs, Ancelotti remains focused on his current role with Real Madrid.
Ancelotti won’t leave Madrid before his contract runs out
Carlo Ancelotti, who led Chelsea to a double in the 2009-2010 season during his two-year stint with the club, is set to face them in the Champions League quarter-finals.
However, he has firmly dismissed rumors of leaving Real Madrid to join Chelsea or any other team, out of respect for the La Liga club.
Despite being linked with the vacancies at Chelsea and Brazil, Ancelotti has another year left on his Madrid contract.
“There’s a nice saying which is just right,” he told Radio Rai 1. “[It is] the wind carries away the chatter.
“That is it. I have a contract until June 30, 2024, and I would like to respect it.”
Ancelotti won LaLiga in his first season after returning to Madrid in 2021, adding to his impressive record of winning all five major European league titles.
This season, Real Madrid is focused on defending their Champions League title, as they aim to catch up with Barcelona in the domestic league.
Chelsea are currently seeking a permanent replacement for Graham Potter and have brought in former manager Frank Lampard to oversee the team until the end of the season.
Brazil has not yet appointed a permanent replacement for Tite after their disappointing exit in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The team is currently being led by Ramon Menezes, who is the under-20 coach, in an interim role.
