Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti hailed Eduardo Camavinga for his performance in their 2-0 victory against Celta Vigo in La Liga.
Real Madrid reduced the gap behind league leaders Barcelona to eight points with their 2-0 win over Celta Vigo, keeping alive their hopes of defending their title.
Los Blancos struggled in their match against Celta Vigo, with Marco Asensio scoring their first clear chance at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu to secure a 2-0 La Liga home win.
Militao scored the second goal to secure the victory for Real Madrid, but Ancelotti praised Camavinga, who played as a left-back once again. But the Frenchman is really making that position his own.
“He’s a player with extraordinary qualities. He can play anywhere on the pitch, he’s special. He can play as a midfielder, or as a defender”, as per reports from Marca.
Although Camavinga had expressed his desire to play in midfield earlier, Ancelotti seems to have other plans for him. But he is expected to deploy him as a left-back in the upcoming matches.
Ancelotti has unexpectedly included the French international in his starting lineup, playing him in a new position at left-back, as he has found it difficult to secure playing time in midfield.
