PSG sporting director Luis Campos has called Kylian Mbappe to improve his performances after breaking an important PSG record
Mbappe scored his 201st goal for PSG in his 247th game for the Parisiennes, making him PSG’s all-time leading goalscorer. The Frenchman scored a brace against Nantes in a 4-2 PSG victory, breaking Edinson Cavani’s record.
Campos wants Mbappe to be even better in a PSG shirt
PSG director Campos urged Mbappe to give even more in a PSG shirt.
“I provoke him all the time because he can do better. I think that when he turns 25-26, that’s when he’s going to be at his best,” Campos told Telefoot. “He needs to keep working and, as he does very well, with high standards.”
Mbappe broke the all-time top goalscorer record for PSG in 54 games less than Edinson Cavani. However, the 24-year-old has yet to break his record in Ligue 1. Cavani scored 138 goals in Ligue 1 and Mbappe has only a goal less than him.
