Kylian Mbappe has dismissed rumors of a potential departure from Paris Saint-Germain despite interest from Real Madrid
When asked about the possibility of leaving PSG, Mbappe gave a straightforward response, stating his commitment to the team. He has a goal to win the Champions League with the club and bring the trophy to France.
“The next step? Winning the Champions League,” Mbappe told France 3. “I have already made a final, semi-final, quarter-final, round of 16 … I have done everything but win. That’s all I need. Where [I want to do it]? In Paris. I’m a Parisian and under contract. So it’s PSG.”
There have been reports of Mbappe having conflicts with his teammates in the locker room as he aims for more leadership responsibility.
However, other figures at the Parc des Princes have also been involved in drama. PSG has been eliminated from this season’s Champions League and it is anticipated that head coach Christophe Galtier will be sacked after the season.
Despite interest from Real Madrid and the potential departure of Lionel Messi and Neymar, Kylian Mbappe’s commitment to remain at PSG is a significant boost for the club.
Mbappe had rejected Real Madrid’s offer for a new PSG contract last summer but remains linked with the Spanish side.
