PSG will reportedly try to sell Neymar in the summer, after the Brazilian criticized his teammates after their recent Monaco loss
The Parisienne club are apparently out of patience when it comes to dealing with Neymar Jr., after the Brazilian’s recent shenanigans.
PSG want Neymar out
Foot Mercato claims that Neymar may be put on the transfer list after the Brazilian started criticizing his teammates in the wake of PSG’s 3-1 loss to Monaco.
Although Neymar Jr. was having a great season before the World Cup, the 31-year-old has been wildly inconsistent following the tournament, which is more reason for PSG to set him aside.
It was reported that Neymar openly criticized Vitinha and Ekitike after their embarrassing defeat at the hands of Monaco last week. And to make matters worse, he even got into a verbal fight with sporting advisor Luis Campos.
The Brazilian winger has a contract with PSG that runs until 2027. Despite his claim of being happy in Paris, Neymar and Mbappe don’t exactly see eye to eye.
Neymar Jr. signed for PSG back in the summer of 2017 for a world-record fee of €222 million which hasn’t been broken yet. He has scored 117 goals and assisted 76 times in 171 appearances for the Parisiennes
The Premier League clubs have previously shown interest in Neymar, with Man United and Chelsea chief among them, but PSG hasn’t yet received any formal bid for Neymar.
