USMNT boss Anthony Hudson backs McKennie to “do really well in the Premier League”
USA head coach Anthony Hudson has backed new Leeds United signing Weston McKennie “to be a huge player for Leeds”.
Weston McKennie to “do well” in the Premier League
The United States international Weston McKennie joined the struggling Leeds United on an initial loan deal with an option to buy in the summer. Although, there is a clause that indicates that Leeds United has to still be in the Premier League for that to happen.
However, USMNT interim coach Anthony Hudson has backed McKennie to do well at Leeds and help them survive.
“I have no doubt Weston McKennie is going to be a huge player for Leeds. He’s an exciting player, he’s a top player. There were periods last season for Juventus where he was one of their most important players. He’s going to do really well in the Premier League.” Hudson said.
Whether that would be the case or not remains to be seen. McKennie has already made 3 appearances for Leeds United, two against Man Utd, but Leeds have only one point from those games and is just a point above the relegation zone.
