The English winger has been rumored to be unhappy at Stamford Bridge and wants a leave, but his representative has denied it all
Chelsea has had a turbulent season where the club has seen loads of new talent come in but neither Potter nor Tuchel could steer them the right way. Raheem Sterling, who joined them in the summer, has been rumored to want a transfer away from the club but the 27-year-old’s representative has denied such rumors categorically.
Raheem Sterling ‘looks forward’ to future at Chelsea
“Sterling has expressed NO discontent with CFC & having committed his long-term future to the new ownership this summer, there is to be no review of his position in the upcoming transfer window,” Sterling’s representative Kelly Hogarth wrote on Twitter. “He very much looks forward to building upon the success of previous seasons.”
Despite Hograth’s response, Sterling may end up leaving the club in the summer nonetheless. Since joining from Manchester City in the Summer, Sterling has failed to nail down a starting spot under either Tuchel or Potter.
Whether he wants to stay at the club or not, Chelsea has to have a massive clearout. Sterling alongside the likes of Aubameyang, Pulisic, Kovacic and Koulibaly could all be on their way out to make room for all the wages given to newer players as well as new transfers coming in.
