The Glazers will sell Manchester United only if their £10 billion is met

The Glazers are expected to withdraw Manchester United from the market as they wait for a new £10 billion ($12.6 billion) asking price to be met.

A source at the Daily Mail suggests that the Glazers, who have owned United since 2005, will continue to manage the club in the foreseeable future.

None of the bidders, including Sheikh Jassim of Qatar and Jim Ratcliffe, met their revised £10 billion asking price. The American businessmen appear satisfied to retain ownership until a suitable offer materializes.

This is likely to incite frustration among United fans, as a portion of the fanbase vehemently opposes the Glazer family’s ownership.

Protests against their ownership have already occurred this season, and anti-Glazer chants are heard whenever United plays, whether at Old Trafford or away.

With the uncertainty surrounding United’s future seemingly resolved for the time being, the club will shift its focus to achieving results on the pitch. Erik ten Hag will lead his team to face Arsenal on Sunday.
