Lisandro Martinez is enjoying the challenge that comes with his role at Manchester United, and is enthusiastic about fulfilling the club’s requirements for achieving success.
Martinez joined Manchester United before the 2022-23 season as one of Erik ten Hag’s most important signings, following the coach from Ajax to Old Trafford. Since then, he has won trophies with both the club and Argentina, helping United secure the EFL Cup and his country win the World Cup.

Despite the pressure to continue performing at a high level this season, Martinez is not intimidated and is happy to meet expectations as a defender.
He told club’s website: “I feel [like I have been] at home since the first day here.
“When I [first] put my foot in Carrington, I remember it was an amazing feeling.
“In a quick time, we [have got] the first trophy. We have to work for everything, we have to believe.
“This club demands to win every game, every title. We are happy to take that responsibility.”
