Tyler Adams suffers a hamstring injury…again

Tyler Adams has experienced a recurrence of his injury while playing for Bournemouth, which will keep him out of action until February.

As reported by The Athletic on Thursday, Adams has once again suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him sidelined for several months.

In March, he initially sustained this hamstring injury while playing for Leeds United and only returned to the field a little over three weeks ago after joining his new club, Bournemouth.

This recurring hamstring injury will prevent him from playing until 2024. Many attributed Leeds United’s Premier League relegation to Adams’ absence, as he was a crucial figure in their midfield before the injury.

In the summer, he had been on the verge of a move to Premier League giant Chelsea, but the transfer fell through, even after he completed a medical. Subsequently, he signed with Bournemouth in a late-window transfer, but things haven’t gone as planned since then.

Furthermore, the U.S. men’s national team recently participated in two international friendlies against Germany and Ghana during the FIFA window.

The absence of their captain and defensive midfielder, Tyler Adams, was glaringly evident. This represents a significant setback for the team as they set their sights on the next potential trophy, the Copa America, scheduled for next summer.
