Man United squad depth is enough for boss Erik ten Hag to achieve his goals for the season
United boss Erik ten Hag believes that the current Manchester United list of players is enough to help them compete in all competitions.
Manchester United’s squad of players can compete on all fronts, according to ten Hag
Despite making only 3 loan signings in January, with Jack Butland, Marcel Sabitzer and Wout Weghorst joining the Manchester United squad, the Red Devil’s boss insists that his players can, in fact, compete on all fronts.
“We have formed and constructed a squad, we invest also in the summer,” Ten Hag told the press. “From that point on, it is about developing the team and it has to come on the training ground, it has to come in the matches, that we develop the team.

“That is the advantage of having so many matches, that you can work on that and you don’t have to wait so long (for the next one). There is a limit to every player but we have depth in our squad.
“Maybe not as far as other teams, but that has something to do with your approach to it and how you do your load management. If you do that right, I think you can go far.”
Despite ten Hag’s claim about the Man United squad depth, Christian Eriksen, who is one of the key players for the Dutchman, has been injured and will be out until April. Whether the Red Devils squad can cope with the packed schedule they face, remains to be seen.
